My experience in accomplishing this task

What I enjoyed most being able to walk around my neighborhood early in the morning and take pictures of the more famous spots and learn about the place.I learn't more about the neighborhood because I just moved in a few months ago so im still new to this place and this made me learn more about it.I feel that one of the difficulties was getiing a good view point to take pictures from as cars kept blocking it when I took the picture from the other side of the street the building was too large and couldnt fit into the photo.Overall I enjoyed this assignment as it was educational and made me more aware of my neighbourhood I also feel it is a new way to do these hands on activities as it is more interactive.

Holland Avenue was named after Holland Road in which in turn was named Hugh Hollands in 1907.Hugh Holland, who was an architect and an amateur actor, was an early resident in Singapore. The roads 'Holland Avenue', 'Holland Close' and 'Holland Drive' were officially named after the principal road in 1972. 

The old POSB which has not been used for years and has been around for many years but it is not used anymore but POSB still does not want to sell the building to anyone.

The new MRT coming up where previously it was an empty land used as walkways.
